Jesse & Kali

As duo performers, in the air and on the ground, Jesse Scott and Kali Retallack present a stunning new act showing off their highly developed circus and dance skills.

Dazzling, timeless and extremely sensuous.

Both toured extensively with and are graduates of the Flying Fruit Fly Circus. Jesse has also toured nationally and internationally as a freelance performer with companies such as Legs on the Wall, The Australian Opera and CIRCA. Kali has recently qualified in dance at the Dance Factory while continuing to refine her circus skills and dancing in film clips such as Silverchair's "If You Keep Losing Sleep".

Jesse and Kali together perform acts on the Double Trapeze and floor-based Adagio routines.

Lately they have been working to incorporate the style and excitement of Salsa and Samba into their Adagio routine, opposing the smooth lifts with the wild movements of the dancing style. This demonstration of strength and focus is sure to impress. The routine can easily be themed differently for different performance environments.

Their Double Trapeze act is a breathtaking feat of strength and trust. Moving over and above the trapeze bar in a series of skilful lifts and drops. The original theme of this act is French in style but can be changed to suit specific events. Imagine this… Jesse balancing on his head on a trapeze bar high above the floor as Kali flips and rotates hanging just from his hands below… this act is currently unique in Australia.

As solo performers Jesse is able to offer Static Trapeze and swinging Head Trapeze, and Kali Aerial Ring (spinning) and multiple dance styles.
